Landline not working

This appears to be a common theme question just recently, but I've just come home from  work and noticed that my landline isn't working ( tested two different corded telephones in all available sockets), I've also performed the service checker for my area and there are no known issues. I've gone through the troubleshooter and there doesn't appear to be the next step apart from placing a call through to Sky - which I'm unable to do as I don't have a working phone! Does anyone know of a different escalation route, please?
