Landline not working
I switched my broadband supplier to Sky. I am supposed to be able to use my landline phone handset via my new hub - but have no connection to my BT 3510 equipment. Anyone attempting to call me is told in a recorded announcement that they have dialled an incorrect number.
In a bid to resolve the situation I purchased an internet phone adapter, just in case my phone was not compatible for aome reason. However that has mede no difference.
Please advise

Re: Landline not working
@Andy+Bash yes, your phone must be plugged into the socket at the back of your broadband Hub. When was your Sky service activated? Are you able to make calls, or is there no dial tone? Note that if your BT phone was designed for BT's Digital Voice service (I don't think that's the case from a quick online), it won't work with Sky.

Re: Landline not working
Hi. Thanks for your reply. My Sky service was activated at the beginning of November. The landline phone is an ordinary BT phone. I get no dial tone and an attempt to call my number says "You have dialled an incorrect number."

Re: Landline not working
@Andy+Bash if you have a black Sky Hub, try switching it off at the plug for 5 minutes (if you have full fibre, switch off the ONT at the same time).
If you have a white 'Max' Hub, switch it off for an hour (again, do the same with the ONT if you have full fibre).
If it doesn't help, it's best to give Sky a call to report it.
