Landline not recognised

Good Morning,

 

I changed over to Sky broadband yesterday which was all set with no issues, including the landline however, when I call the landline today, it states the number is not recognised and can't make calls out either?

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

@Westy1204  It normally takes 24 hours for the landline to go live after your broadband install.

 

If 24 hours have elapsed we can escalate your post to the community messaging team.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Westy1204 are you able to make calls from your Sky landline?

@Westy1204 is your phone handset (or base station) plugged into your broadband Hub? It won't work from a wall socket. Do you have a black Hub or white? If it's black, is the Voice LED on the front panel illuminated? Green or amber?

The phone is connected to the hub and it's the white Sky max hub.

@Westy1204 I'd suggest giving it the 24 hours, as @GD1 posted, then restarting your Hub (and the ONT if you have full fibre) by switching off at the plug for an hour. If it's no different after that, we'll go ahead and escalate to Sky.
