Landline issues

Since the house has been redecorated and we have put everything back the landline no longer works, I've tried everything suggested, I've got the ringing on the landline but it doesn't actually go through, and I cant receive calls .

@Dannzii does your phone plug into a wall socket? Was the socket disturbed while you were decorating?

I didnt even think of that! It may have been. The only thing im confused about is everything else is working fine. When you call the landline from a mobile you can hear the ringing but the phone doesn't ring.

@Dannzii you could try a Service Status check (link in the help guide below) in case of known issues in your area - but I doubt it will show anything.

 

Failing that, try the connection test (in the same help guide) even if your broadband is working ok. If that doesn't detect a fault either, you'll need to report it to Sky. You can do that by calling 150 from your landline.

I looked at the service status and it was all okay. The connection is fine. 

 

I'll give them a call to report it, thank you so much for the help.
