Discussion topic: Landline is completely dead. I’ve tried all the usual solutions.

Landline is completely dead. I’ve tried all the usual solutions.

Service checker says it's all ok.

Reset the router.

unplugged the phone line and waited.

Internet is fine.

Phones say 'check phone line' and there is no dial tone.

Has your phone line been working prior to this and that you have made no changes to your broadband package ?

Hi,

 

yes, it's been fine. I did call Sky a few days ago to ask about ending my broadband, they said the contract ends soon and I should call back mid Sept.  The next day the phone line went off.
