LAND LINE DEFECTIVE

I have a Sky account for TV, Broadband AND TELEPHONE. MY LAND LINE TELEPHONE DOES NOT RECEIVE NOR IS ABLE TO SEND MESSAGES. I USE THE LAND LINE A LOT and I CANNOT SEND ANY 999 nor 111 CALLS. THEREFORE THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR ME. I DO DESPERATELY NEED MY LAND LINE FIXED PLEASE - 01548 ......... I HAVE COPIED THIS MESSAGE WHICH IS NOW SAVED ON MY COMPUTER AND WILL BE ABLE TO BE READ IF AND WHEN I DIE!! PLEASE, PLEASE HELPAS I DO NEED MY LAND LINE TELEPHONE AS I AM EXPECTING INFORMATION ABOUT A HEART SCAN THAT I HAD LAST WEEK. DAVID SCOTT

Have you tried  plugging  your  phone  into the back of the hub ?

Are you on full fibre broadband,  fibre  optic broadband, do you have 1 of these boxes

@DbS1  Have you recently moved to Sky or if you are a current customer when did your line last work?   Have you made and package changes to your broadband service.

 

If you recently joined Sky did you request the text sending feature from Sky which is a chargeable service.

Based on a couple of things you've mentioned in your post, if you have health issues that affect your ability to communicate it may be worth registering with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help now or in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team other than phoning so have a look here… ~
