Hi. I am currently helping an older family member update/upgrade their Sky. I've noticed that as soon as the land line rings (Sky Talk) the Broadband/Wifi (Sky Broadband) cuts out and it takes about 2-3 minutes until the wifi is back working after you hang up the phone. Apparently that's always been the case so it's not a new issue but it really shouldn't be this way and I want to do something about it!
I've read it has something about the line and missing filters or so but I really don't understand what that means. Can someone help explain or is this even something that Sky can directly help with ? I've attached to photos. The first one is the main plug to the landline in the front room and the other is the connections I found in the living room underneath the hub/router.
I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes, it can be caused by a microfilter problem. Every connection to the phone line should be via a microfilter. The socket in the top photo doesn't appear to have a microfilter plugged in, so that would be a good place to start.
It may also be worth replacing the microfilter in your second photo to rule it out as a possible cause.
