I had sky fibre installed 2 days ago. Internet is fine but my land line is dead.

My newly installed fibre braodband is good but I no longer have a landline signal and my land line phone has  gone dead. Moreover, since the new fibre installation, the wall box fro the land line appears loose on the wall and dead. Kind regards MM

If you have a fibre optic cable to your home, your phone must be plugged into the socket at the back of your broadband Hub.

FTTP replaces the analogue PSTN service over copper, as @Mark39 indicates.  The 'wall box' and any internal extensions are now obsolete.

Thank you for your response if I get an adaptor and plug my existing phone into the router, will I be able to make calls from my phone? Thank you Melody

No adaptor should be needed. Just plug your phone straight into the socket at the back of your router.
