I didnt have broadband for a few months and have signed up for sky. Can i get my old number back

I didnt have Internet or a phone line for a few months. Would I be able to get my old number back??

What do you mean by this, was there a fault on your line or did you cancel your internet/phones services because if you did you would not be able to get your old number back.

If you didn't have a provider to transfer the number from, the number would have dropped into a pot of numbers so it's highly unlikely you could retrieve it.

New offcom guidance that can into place in April allows for a number recovery within 31 days of the services being ceased when going to a different provider

 

Only exceptions are the original provider cat recover their old number

 

and talk talk haven't got this working yet so as soon as they turn off a service the number is gone
