Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreFrom previous posts it appears there's a slight delay before the phone service is activated, typically 24 hours or so. When did you connect up the new Hub?

Yesterday morning because my other WiFi had turned off so I put my new one in

Is this the result of you switching to Sky from another provider?
22 Nov 2024 03:09 PM
No I've been with sky for a few years I just upgraded my hub

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'd suggest giving it until tomorrow, then restarting your Hub by switching off for 30 seconds or so. If that doesn't result in a connection being established, we can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish?

That would be nice and thank you I will try that

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Donnahb-1981 Another option is to follow the guide here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/fix-phone-problems-start
Start by answering each question it asks ( is your broadband working, select which hub you have, select the issue you are having etc). It will then give you some things to check some. If none of that helps then on the last page click on "No I still need help" and then complete the form that is provided and it will raise a help ticket for you.
I switched back over to Sky broadband yesterday, had the exact same issue with phone not working but broadband was fine, I went though the above process and completed the form and my phone line was working as expected 24 hours later.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Donnahb-1981 Your new post has been merged to your previous thread for continuity.
To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team. This link explains how it works https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147#M1014
Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.
When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts
