Hi, why are we charged for national calls, I thought these would be free?
We've just started using our landline. I thought local calls would be included free within our sky talk package but it looks like we've been charged for them and it's pretty expensive 😞.
is there a way around this?
thanks

Depends which tariff you're on. Sky Pay as You Talk will charge you for any calls.

Re: Hi, why are we charged for national calls, I thought these would be free?
Thanks, I think I'll have to call Sky and discuss as I'm azdiamond customer and have never actually used my landline. Our mobile reception is poor in new house hence I decided to use the landline, big mistake, has cost a fortune! 😬
thanks for your help

Being a VIP customer of any level will have nothing to do with the costs of calls. To change your tariff to one more suitable you will have to call Sky.

Especially as every customer Sky has is also a VIP customer so this doesn't give you anything special when it comes to your package. From what you have said it appears as if you are on the Pay as your Talk one so you will need to call Sky which you can do for free and ask them to put you on the package of your choice. 150 is the free number to use.
