Help with sky/openreach to sky/city fibre call problem

Had city fibre fit new wifi/internet/calls box today. They left said all was good but have now realised my landline is not working 😟

any advice welcome as I don't know what to do🙄 thanks

It can take 24 hours or so for the landline service activation to be completed. I'd leave it until tomorrow, then restart your Hub and the ONT, by switching off at the plug for an hour. If there's still no landline service at that point, do post back and we'll try to arrange some help for you.

 I have similar problem as no longer able to connect landline to open reach box Can you clarify what is switch off for 24 hours and what is switched off for 1 hour

City fibre connection

City fibre connected today-all working ok except for telephone landline- phone was plugged into open reach box connection but now phone in different room due to city fibre box position in house at front - open reach box on back room

telephone now connected to router and to power

 any advise on what I should do to get landline working
