Are these standard wired phones? How would you connect the second handset? Are you new to Sky Talk (landline)? If so, when was the service activated? Or has your Sky landline service worked ok up to now?

Note that any business use of Sky Talk is disallowed in the terms and conditions.

Thank you. More questions (sorry). When you plug your phone into your router, do you hear a dial tone? I'm not sure that 7 years ago, you would have a phone service delivered by connecting your phone to your router. Do you have a black/grey router, or a white one? Does it have an indicator light on the front panel labelled 'Voice'? And if so, is it illuminated?

Can you tell us the make/model of the phone? It's not possible to connect to Sky's Talk service over wifi, so I'm unsure that what you have is suitable.

Unless you have a separate fibre optic cable to your home for broadband, I'd suggest trying the phone in the wall socket to see if that gives you a dial tone. If not, I think you'll need to report a fault to Sky.
