@Des88

See if you can run this line test to see if a fault is found outside of your property and if something is found you can book an engineer repair, ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband:

You can also run this test via the MySky app.

Let us know how you get on.

Is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub? When was your full fibre service activated?

Re: Full fibre and landline

We are having an identical problem ! No outgoing calls happening but incoming is fine. Is this a SKy / Openreach issue or have we got something wrong?

Re: Full fibre and landline

Hi there,

Yes, it's plugged in to the hub and it was installed about 2 weeks ago.

Our calls to Sky Technical have been extensive and they say our wiring looks fine ( they asked me to send pix) They conclude that the system is working fine. They suggested  getting a neighbour to bring over a phone to test it.....I mean, really?

We bought a new phone and it's still the same.issue. Incoming is fine and outgoing goes nnowhere. What are my options here

@DesperateDave do you have a white Max Hub or a black one? If you have a white Hub, try resetting it by pressing the WPS button for 30 seconds.

If it's still the same, or if you have a black Hub, you're best going back to Sky. We can ask their messaging team to contact you here so that you can follow it up via a private online chat, (probably tomorrow now) if you wish?

Re: Full fibre and landline

It's a black one Mark.

We have all 4 lights glowing green btw.

Feel free to get their messaging Team to contact me again. I am out until after 3pm though....

I can't see where they've contacted you previously?

Re: Full fibre and landline

Sorry Mark, This is on behalf of my mother in law (nearly 89) who was persuaded to go with Fibre and didnt realise it would be the end of her beloved phone line. SoI have spent 2 hours talking to them on her mobile rather than mine!

Happy to pm you my mobile if it helps?

Ah OK. Do Sky have a note in their records that you're authorised to speak to them on behalf of your mother in law? Or is the account in your name?
