Sky installed yesterday, no dial tone or voice light on router

Hi, hoping someone can help! We had Sky installed yesterday and the broadband seems to be working fine but the engineer never plugged the landline into the router so I've done that myself but there's no voice light on the router and we have no dial tone.

 

I spoke to someone at Sky yesterday who checked that everything was plugged in and set up correctly and said the activation wasn't fully complete and we should have a dial tone by midnight. However, midnight has been and gone and we still have no dial tone. 

I never received a second text to confirm activation was complete either and the app still shows that broadband isn't with Sky.

 

 What can I do please?

I assume your phone no longer works from the wall socket.

 

It's common for activation of the landline service to be delayed for 24 hours. After the 24 hours has elapsed, restart your Hub by switching off at the plug for 30 seconds. If the Voice light is still not lit green once the Hub has restarted, it's probably best reported to Sky again.

Hey!!!
Since there is still no dial tone and you still have not received activation confirmation, try turning the router off and on again and then check if the phone is correctly connected to the TEL1 port if using Digital Voice. If the problem remains, please contact Sky support again and ask if your phone line activation is complete. You may have to wait longer or request advanced troubleshooting from Sky.
