I have a TV / Broadband and Talk supply.
The outside line to our house is overhead telegraph pole to pole.
Its working fine but part of the line near to the house is very slack and blows around and requires tightening or even replacing, our fear is that it will break leaving us without a supply.
My wife has a health issue and depends on the supply of a good telephone line so I'm keen to have it checked and for Openreach to make sure it is as it should be - I understand its their responsibility and you can only make contact through your broadband and telephone provider. How does one go about this?

Just give Sky a call. 150 on your landline phone. However unless it's a safety hazard, it's possible that Openreach might not accept a fault report if your landline phone is currently working ok.
If it IS a safety hazard, you can report it directly to Openreach

Re: Exterior line fault
Thanks Mark,
I'll try Openreach, its not a safty issue as such, but could easily become one if the line snaps understress as it waves around and then cuts off.
I'll have a word with them before doing a 150.
