Broadband is working fine, but I can't make or receive calls on my landline. The Devolo unit plugged into the wall has a red flashing light, normally this is green. I've tried the usual powering off/on but made no difference.

I don't know what the Devolo unit is that you mention. It doesn't sound like Sky equipment. Your phone should either be plugged into the landline wall socket, or, if your Sky Hub has a 'Voice' light, into the Hub itself.
