Hi, my dad has signed with sky from talk talk. His tv is working, the broadband too and the sky engineer is booked 4/7/25 however today his landline will only receive calls, he has no dialling tone to dial out. When will is be fully operational?
@S+wilson You may need to ring Sky. We are customers like you on here.
@S+wilson what is the engineer coming to do? When was his broadband service activated? Is this phone plugged into his broadband Hub?
The engineer is coming to install broadband. I presume the service he has is still talk talk for his broadband as the tv and internet are both working. His phone is still plugged into the existing hub. He can receive calls but he cannot phone out today. When will sky be installing his landline so it fully works?
@S+wilson If the engineer is coming on the 4th July to install broadband then that is the date they will install it & the phone service, therefore any issues they have now is down to TalkTalk to fix as he is still their customer until the switch over date.
@S+wilson In that case surely you need to be speaking to Talk Talk as they currently service his phone line?
You can track the status of the order with Sky via the My Sky app or ring Sky.

Sky's broadband and landline services will be installed together by the engineer on 4th July. At that point your dad's phone will need to be plugged into Sky's broadband Hub.
Until 4 July, TalkTalk are responsible for providing his landline service, so it's TT you need to speak to as previously advised.
