Can’t receive incoming calls

Why can't I receive incoming calls on landline but can make outgoing calls ok ?

Landline rings, when answered, silent for a few seconds then cuts out,  outgoing calls work perfectly !  😡

@DebbieDave  Have you made changes to your broadband & talk subscription with Sky or have you just joined Sky or did this just happen out of the blue?

Hi. We changed from BT to Sky about 3 months ago, it's been working fine until about a week ago, ?!   We haven't changed anything, no settings changed and using the same phones etc  !!
