We have contacted yourselves previously as our phone handsets aren't working. You have advised that the phone lines are ok but the phones are still not working (ie no power). We have tested all three phone sockets in the house. . We have also tried a new phone. Broadband & sky tv is working. The phones seem to have gone off since you came & upgraded the Wi-Fi so we are wondering if the main line has been knocked off. Could you please send an engineer out . thanks

Try the troubleshooting in the below link. If an external fault is found you may be able to book an engineer online, otherwise you'll need to speak directly to Sky to report it. They will pass it to Openreach for investigation. Openreach has a target fix time of two working days.

If you upgraded your broadband service, you may have been switched to internet calls.
If your broadband Hub has 4 indicator lights on the front panel, and the one labelled 'Voice' is lit, you need to plug your phone into the socket at the back of the Hub. If you connect your phone to the wall socket it won't work.

Hello
thanks for your quick reply. Are we able to change back to sky line rental from internet calls please as we need to use the phone line in other rooms which we can't do as only one sky hub in the main living room.
Many thanks

Find out more@Neil50 I'm afraid not (and anyway it would be a temporary solution as the analogue phone network is due to be switched off completely in 2025). The simplest solution would be to invest in a cordless phone kit with as many handsets as you need. The base station plugs into the Hub, and the handsets are portable so you could take a single handset with you from room to room or buy a kit with multiple handsets that you could leave where you want them.
