Since upgrading to fill fibre I am now suffering from the amber light of death where the voice light goes amber, everything else is green and I have no internet. Cycling the router power fixes it.
It only happens about once a week.
From previous discussions it appears there is no fix for this.
Is it even worth calling Sky?

Hmm. Debatable, IMHO I suspect they'd suggest doing what you're doing (a restart) and consider it job done when it resolves the problem as it has up to now. If it becomes more frequent, I would.

My connection has now stabilised..no problems for a few weeks.
I just noticed the firmware was updated. It was running 7.03.0400.R previously... but it had stabilised before the update.
Another change is that until recently my router was not showing the connection details in the modem section of the Maintenance tab, they were all blank. I assumed that was because it was a fibre connection but all the details are there now.
Fingers crossed 🤞
