hi @HeathHayle
I have no idea what proprtions but I think there will be a mixture of Cancelling, upgrade to SKY Q & switch to SKY Stream & I think a few will also succomb to the sales push for Glass.
It will all depend on many factors.
There is no doubt in my mind that the current SKY HD customers are likely to feel disappointed and probably let down - irrespective of the technical realities of ageing tech.
I think part of the problem is that SKY +/HD has been a reliable system for most & has generally a simple 'it works' UI. which is very suitable for it's current demographic of users.

I agree with @nigea99 's assessment. Customers will likely be talked into switching to Q or Stream, even though they've held off this long.
Personally, if my HD+ Box failed tomorrow, I would probably take a Sky Q offer.
The customers with complex Multi room/Magic Eye setups will struggle to find a suitable replacement though.

Oh Yes, definitely staying with Sky+HD as long as possible. Hopefully right up to the satellite broadcast ending.
Then, I don't know. Wouldn't be interested in Stream in its current format.

Sky will be available on Sky+ HD boxes as long as Sky is available on on Sky Q boxes😉

The most frequent failure on DRX890/895 boxes is the HDD which can be replaced
