wi fi

Right,my telly packed up on me,so just bought a new smart tv,and also ive started using wi-fi for the first time,because i was using them old line connections,ive got a number of apps on this telly,but how do i get the sky app on it to watch there on demand and catchup services,ive got an old hd sky box,they have been truing to get me to have a q box,but i cant have that on this housing state where i live,because the housing people havnt updated things,theres a few people that cant have it over here,is there anyway i can get skys on demand and catchup service,on this old sky hd box ive got,and if so do i have to have a lead that goes from the telly to the moderm.

There's no Sky app you can use on your TV, I'm afraid.

 

In relation to your Sky box, does it have a WPS button on the front panel, to the right of the blue/green rings of LEDs?

@sweetheart4321  There are no Sky Apps on smart TV to watch Cathup services as these are delivered through the necessary hardware like Sky Q and Sky Stream/Glass.

 

The only app Sky have for TV's is the Now TV app which is a different product entirely.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

there is a wps pin number on there mark.

Not sure what you mean by a PIN number. If your box has one, the WPS button is on the front panel as shown here:

If your computer has an HDMI-out port, that can be used as a television input.

see whats been happening is,im paying all this money for skys full package ,but im not getting the full benefit from it,i can only watch whats on daily,and athough i can watch sky go and catchups on my computer,i cant on my telly

If your SKY HD box is still working you should be able to access the Catch up & on demand as you always have 

 

I have not had SKY HD for many years bu I am sure thoes  here who still have this system should be able to assist

@sweetheart4321 not all Sky+HD boxes have WiFi capability. I asked whether or not it has a WPS button, because if it does, it has WiFi and you can connect it to your broadband service for On Demand.  If it has a WPS button, it's in the front panel.
