Why doesn't the red button work on Sky HD + for SkyTennis? At the same time, the same match is shown on SkyMain - there is no choice in terms of matches na Sky HD+. TNT shows matches under the red button, so I see no reason why Sky HD+ doesn't do it.

hi @Slaw
As I mentioned above, the Red button on the Tennis relies on an app, and SKY HD being a much older platform doesn't support apps
You will thus need to use the SKY Sports app on other devices for the red button content if you have SKy +/HD

With respect - but it doesn't hold together. TNT allows you to watch with the red button on Sky HD+ and at the same time has an application on SMART TV that you can watch more matches. Why SKY cannot do it - at least add its application to TV SMART if they want to rely on app?

SKY Q & Glass/Stream do support the red button for alternative matches - so it is available
SKY has always deliberatly steered away from apps for Smart Tvs.
The SKY HD platform remains as an option for existing subscriptions but is no longer developed or even supported for failures etc
All technology has a finite life & support dwindles as newer technology takes over.
The same is true for Tablets, phones & Pcs etc- some apps won't work on older devices with older versions of Ios, Android, MacOS/ Windows etc.
Even SKY Q is likely to have limited updates as SKY stream takes over

@Slaw Sky are gradually changing their services... how TNT services are supported is irrelevant to how Sky services are supported☹️

I would assume that for new channels such as the Tennis channel , Sky didn't feel it was worth the cost of providing the older method particularly as the number of Sky+HD box customers is dwindling and a free switch to Sky Q is available to anyone who wants it.

so do you think that I should be able to get Golf red button (which I can see but when I press it goes back to main feed|). I have a sky + box and red button for golf was working a couple of weeks ago.

For 'red button' choice of viewing within a particular Sports event on Sky+ HD the different options have to be carried by satellite signal, and that's going to be increasingly rare.
The BBC ceased doing so for Wimbledon last year, for example, and moved almost all multi-court coverage online (where Sky+ HD doesn't have app access). Having multiple satellite downlink feeds is really expensive and increasingly hard to justify when the vast majority of the potential audience has online-capable hardware.

So many answers about Tennis. Did anyone answer the question about golf. Red button only takes me to the LSPGA but the main feed says I should also be able to watch the PGA tour?

Some on-screen information may simply be incorrect, in the sense that it applies to the current Sky platforms (Q, Glass & Stream) rather than Sky+
Where the Red Button content is delivered online rather than by satellite (which will increasingly be the case) Sky+ HD hardware cannot access it.
