My sky + hd remote was working fine with my old tv. I now have a Sharp 32 " (32BB41) and the sky tech help page doesn't recognise the model number. It's only about 5 years old. I have phoned sky and they say they don't support Sky + hd boxes anymore. I have looked online for ages and still can't solve this! Help please !

Anyway, Sharp use radio frequency (RF) remotes, rather than infra red (IR) for some of their models and they're not compatible with Sky remotes. Check your TV user manual to see if your TV is one that uses an RF remote. If it is, you can't use your Sky remote to control it.
