@Bramhope+21  It seems while the red mist has descended your not reading the replies properly.  So for your benefit I'll repost the info already provided:

Sky Sports+ Channel IS on 412 in HD only if you don't have the HD box you won't see it.

Rugby is on the Sky Sports + App.

Sky + / Sky +HD boxes are simply ancient hardware and were never designed to host apps.

Not sure where you get the money grabbing from as Sky Q & Sky stream are no more expensive than the ancient unsupported hardware you using.

Still let's not let a good old rant get in the way of facts.

And shock horror a business after making a profit, how dare they!!!!!!!

@Bramhope+21 Do you have a Full Sky Sports subscription or just a subscription to Sky Sports Action/Arena for the Rugby?

You need the full subscription to watch Sky Sports+ (Ch 412) as it covers all sports.

Whilst I can access the Sky Sports App and therefore Sky Sports Plus on a phone and tablet, although I have the Sky Sports App on my Windows PC, when I try to log in it says Access Denied.  Does this mean I can't get Sky Sports Plus on my PC?

I agree 100% sat down to watch my team in the new sports plus channel on 412 on my sky plus box at 8pm only to find after 30 years loyalty I have been mislead with all the adverts. As a sky sports subscriber I could not get the new channel.  I have friends with chipped fire sticks who pay sky nothing but watch all sport for free. I feel cheated

It has always been clearly stated since the outset that it will not be available to HD+ customers as the boxes have old software which cannot cope with live streaming so would need to upgrade to Q or Glass or use the App or buy a NOW package.Not really sure why so many people who are HD+ customers are getting so het up.I am one of these but who seriously wants to watch so much live sport.I would only want to watch my own football team and the tennis and cricket which is still available so unless you want to invest in Q or Glass and upgrade to Sky Sports and the Ultimate package I do not see the benefit but that is my own opinion.The costs are basically the same it would just mean having a new TV

Do you mean the Channel or the App? 

If you subscribe to the Full Sports Package, the Sky Sports + Channel on 412 was showing Preston v Sheff Utd.

Other EFL games, Barnsley v Mansfield, Chesterfield v Swindon and Super League games were on the App which isn't available on Sky+HD boxes as they simply can't host apps.

So you're talking specifically about channel 412 and not the app? What happens when you try to access 412, is there any error message such as no satellite signal?

Even though the SKY HD box doesn't support the new SKY Sports app that is showing the alternative games you can use the app on a mobile device such as iphone/ipad or Android mobile or tablet (unfortunately not a desktop)

if the game you want is not on channel 412 then you can still watch the matches (live).
