**bleep** to get regional channels on viewing card?

Hi, I live in Scotland and bought a second hand sky+ hd box of eBay with an English viewing card showing BBC England when regional news comes on it is for England, how do I get the viewing card programmed to show me BBC Scotland news and programs?

I phoned SKY but we're no help.

The Viewing Card shouldn't have been sold to you. It's Sky's property and not transferable between customers. If you don't have a Sky TV subscription you won't be able to change the regional programmes you receive as they're linked to the address the Viewing Card is registered to.

@Colin+C75 What's the background to this? Are you a Sky subscriber? Did you get this box to replace your existing box?

Thanks for the info mark39 I don't have a subscription just freeview and just been looking on ebay and see loads of viewing cards there maybe get one that does Scottish channels. Thanks

Thanks for your response ojo1 I already have a viewing card from years ago that does Scottish regional channels that I had as a subscription now just have it for freeview downstairs for sky hd box. The ebay sky hd box is for upstairs that came with the English Channels viewing card again for free viewing don't want to keep taking downstairs card upstairs to upstairs box to watch TV and wanted a card in both boxes for an easy life. Do you know anyway to link both boxes and just use 1 card? Thanks

Not possible as far as I'm aware.
