Connect Sky box with scart to smart tv without.

Hi.  I have bought a new smart Tv and found it has not got scart.  I would like advice please as to what cable I need which has a scart one end and something at the other end I can plug into the Tv to connect the Tv to Sky?  Thank you in advance if anyone is able to help me.

You'll need a scart to HDMI converter. Just a cable is unlikely to work, but there are a number of converters available here. Check the details to make sure that it's the right way round, that is, scart input to HDMI output, not the other way round. They're not interchangeable

Personally I'd purchase a secondhand Sky+HD box (DRX895) that has HDMI, this way you'll get the best picture and sound out of your HD TV

@Fanbase yes, I agree with @Annie+UK , particularly if the new TV has a larger screen. You can buy a used Sky+HD box for around £30 on ebay etc

Worth bearing in mind that any Sky box which only has SCART output is an antique designed to be used with a small standard definition CRT television, long before big HD/UHD LCD 'smart' televisions were even a thing:  SCART itself is a standard approaching its fifth decade, and pretty much obsolete.
