Why do I need an engineer?

I've recently moved home and wanting to change my address with Sky, however my new home already has a sky dish. It's plugged in and working fine so why do I need to book an engineer (and waste their time) in order to change my address?

You don't,, just phone sky and tell them the new address, job done
