We cannot play this recording

I want to be able to view recording. There is no issues with viewing card but recording still won't play.

@Kerry171 try deleting the last episode, and deleting it from the Deleted tab, then try again.

No just random ones, usually if signal lost during recording but seems to get locked up

Loss of signal would certainly cause that to happen. You might need to investigate the reason for the signal loss.

Yes I'm working off a WiFi dongle and usually all is okay. Just occasionally the signal drops off and think sky doesn't reset on the recording. It will continue to do other bits just locks out say 1 episode from the series

Your wifi dongle is only used for On Demand/Catch Up. Recordings from the TV Guide rely on a good signal from your satellite dish.

Good point, and the sky signal strength is good on both receiver's. Now if signal was lost and we try to download just goes to our last playback and is stuck in a cycle of cannot play this recording, resolve issue, re-pair viewing card

Hi, that has worked. Thank you for all help. On a number of occasions we have got part way through a season and had to stop for this issue. We had even been in touch with sky a few times. So please you've sorted this for us. Thank you again
