Viewing card not authorised

I have a similar issue that others have raised.  We had a cancelled engineers visit for Sky Q upgrade and now, a few weeks later, the card is not authorised?  I managed to speak to someone at Sky yesterday who said he would pair the card but still no joy.  When I follow the remote instructions it tells me the last three digits of my viewing card are not valid?  Please help as it's been days without Sky channels now

When you placed the order for Sky Q did you get sent a new viewing card because of you did try using that one. If you didn't then you will need a replacement so I would call them back again.

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi - no we did not get new cards.  Do you have any suggested numbers to use as I can not seem to get through to anyone on the usual numbers.  Thanks!

I have had the same problem. I ordered a sky q box and immediately cancelled so no card sent. Two weeks ago I get the error message so I have contacted sky 3 times and each time they say they have sent a card and will send another card. They never arrive. They have even said that a sky q box will arrive, I don't want one, I want the viewing card for my sky+ box. Seriously contemplating stopping sky after 23 years. I'm so disappointed, it never used to be like this. Please send me my card and reimburse me for the sky tv I'm paying for and not receiving.
