Viewing card not authorised message on screen

Can I have a new viewing card as my viewing card looks damaged and is not working and I now have an onscreen message saying card not authorised.

Have you previously upgraded to Sky Q then cancelled it?

If you are talking about the brown mark<s> on the card then that's normal, see my FAQ #25

Try performing a New Install

See question Q21 in my Sky Plus F⋅A⋅Q

Re: Viewing card not authorised message on screen

Go into Settings > System Details and check for your Viewing Card number.

If the card is damaged, it will be blank.

If the card number is present, the data between it and the box is ok and it'll probably be an entitlement issue that Sky should be able to address OTA via simple EMM commands.
