Viewing Card

it says my Viewing Card is not authorised. I have gone to Details on my tv and given my last 3 digits and they haven't been recognised

There is no magic number for a quicker response @SusieY 

 

Some suggest about 7pm is a little quieter but who knows.

@SusieY clearly this isnt a boadband issue which Sky TV system thst uses viewing cards do you hzve Sky Q or SkyHD+?

Have you ordered Sky Q at any point recently?

Yes, but they weren't able to fit the disc so it was cancelled

That would be the reason. When you order Sky Q your Sky+ Viewing Card is scheduled to be disabled. Unfortunately that's not reversed if your Sky Q order doesn't complete, for any reason.

 

If you give Sky a call, they should be able to reinstate your existing Card or send you a new one. Be ready for them try to sell you Sky Q (again) or Sky Stream.

Thank you but it's not that easy to speak to anyone at Sky - I tried earlier and after an hour I gave up!  Do you have a magic number?

On a similar note ....

I have just spoken to Sky 'help' regarding a Sky+HD box viewing card that I wanted pairing and authorising.....

SKY are not supporting Sky+HD anymore.

I was advised that the card I had was now 'switched off' and could not be reinstated AND Sky were not issuing any more Sky+HD viewing cards.....so my box is now just a Freesat receiver and recordings and other services are not accessible.....
