Strange programmes appearing in planner

This happens from time to time and no idea how or why? 

Just checking my scheduled to record programmes for the coming week and find S7 ep2 of Elementary has appeared to be recorded next Tuesday 🤷🏻‍I used to watch this show years ago before it finished, but no other episodes have appeared in schedule.  This has happened on and off for years, with random episodes appearing in my planner, sometimes with shows I have never even heard of on obscure channels I have never watched. I did query with Sky once, but they could not explain and said someone in my household must have added, but only me watches Sky.

Has this happened to anyone else?  Does anyone else know why this happens?

I have had similar instances, for reasons unknown my box used to part record some Premier League football matches despite the fact I have never once recorded a match. Sometimes I saw the recording sitting in the scheduled folder before it started but other times I didn't.  This has not happened this season though although I do keep checking for scheduled recordings a few times a week incase anything appears there that shouldn't be.

@akh48  I've seen this happen to me and like @caesarome I keep checking my schedule recording a few times a week

Glad to see I am not alone with this issue, I am back to checking my schedule regularly again.
