Sound keep cutting in and out

When watching tv, the sound occasionally (ie a few times per hour) cuts out. What is causing this and how can we fix it. We did a software update last night and that hadn't fixed it either. Thanns

Make sure you don't have DolbyD turned on via your sound settings. This can be found your services (on the remote) > settings > sound.
