Sky plus box lost channels

Hi, I've had my current sky plus box for more than 15 years. Its the second box in my bedroom, but it's list so many channels.

I've tried rebooting, but itS not improved.

I can no longer get BBC channels as they are now HD, but I've lost so many that are part of my subscription package.

Can you please advise if I am required to purchase a new box to allow me to continue to access the channels I should be getting as I have previously with my package.

If it's a Sky+ box with no HD capability, then it will be unable to receive an increasing number of channels. You would need a replacement Sky+HD box or an upgrade to Sky Q/Stream. Sky no longer provide Sky+HD boxes, but you can buy a used replacement cheaply from ebay etc. A DRX890 or DRX895 model is what you need.

If you go the replacement Sky+HD box route, you'll need to let Sky know that you've done so.

Some people don't want Sky Q (or cannot have Sky Q) and would not consider it an upgrade, moving to Sky Q is not the answer to everything 😞
