Just purchased used sky+hd box c/w card but some channels asking for pin number. Tried last 4 digits of card that came with box but sky keep telling me pin is incorrect. I cannot change pin number online as I have no sky account. I cancelled mu account 6 years ago when made redundant When mt sky box broke down it was cheaper buying used box than repairing broken one so it went in the council recycling skip but I forgot to keep existing card.
How do you find pin number of card that I now own? I have lost the sellers details so cannot contact them

the seller had no legal right to give you the card as it's sky's property which is not transferable

Your question is irrelevant as you have no right to use the Card.

Without a Sky subscription you have no legitimate access to any channels which apply Mandatory Daytime Protection: no free-to-air service does so because they do not broadcast post-watershed content in daytime hours.
As purchaser of second-hand Sky+ hardware you can use it for Freesat reception only: a previous owner misguidedly leaving their viewing card in the box doesn't change this.
