Sky hd remote solid red light

I am disabled and haven't got a clue about sorting this. I have no aerial but a sky hd box and watch free something or other through it. I have the right LNR but don't know what this is. I have a sky hd remote and this has been working fine. Today it said 888 channel unavailable when I pressed anything and a red light stayed solid on top of remote. Took battery out and pressed select for 10 seconds and reinserted battery but nothing changed. I have an LG tv   Help 🙏

That's the right thing to do to reset the remote, but try pressing Select for 30 seconds.
