Sky hd box

I have been informed that my sky hd box will be switching off in 3 months, I can't have sky Q as I live in flats and share a communal aerial, I can't pass the credit check needed for sky glass and the pucks are useless as I need to be able to record, so basically as a sky member for over 15 years I'm obviously no longer good enough for them as they don't seem to give two hoots!!!!

If you have a Sky+HD box it will continue to operate normally for the foreseeable future. What exactly have you been informed of and by who?

By sky customer service they told me that there will be no more updates being sent to my box as they are going to be obsolete

That is correct but as there have been no updates for a good few years then it will not mean they will stop working anytime soon...
