Sky+hd 1tb box with permanent orange light

My sky box has a permanent orange light can't switch it on done a software update but still nothing

If it didn't respond to the software update, I'm afraid the box has expired. You'll need to speak to Sky about upgrading either to Sky Q, their current satellite platform, or Sky Stream.
