Sky goes off for about a week after rain

This has happened about 4 times now but everytime we have heavy rain which lasts a while the sky goes off, sometimes it's only off for a few days but it's been off for over a week now and waiting for a sky engineer. anyone else having this issue?

May be because of rainwater getting into the cable because it's nicked somewhere along its length. Works again after the cable has dried out.
