Sky will not send ouit an engineer for Sky+ systems as they are now obsolete

Here's what my Settings were before I changed anything
I changed the bottom line to 1.0.0.1

Sky + not downloading any programmes
Today only I cannot download any programmes , the box is recording scheduled programmes but this afternoon tried to download so programmes and it showed failed . Turnbix off and waited and restarted and now when I try and download nothing happens - just say waiting to download

Yep, I started getting the exact same issues today, failed or not progressing catch up recording, live recording fine, slow populating images etc, seems like just the catch up

Hi. Same issue here. Missing icons. Downloads just sit in scheduled but do nothing. Also with Talk Talk. All working fine yesterday.

To OJO1 - No joy I'm afraid. The DHCP (?) is off and it won't turn back on - doomed.....

SKY+ HD DOWNLOADS
I have a SKY+ HD Box and everything was working fine until tonight. I am able to watch SKY and record from the EPG but now I am unable to download fron Catch Up. When I try a selected programme it says "Downloading" but it doesn't. After about five minutes it says "FAILED". If I then press record it says "Scheduled" then "Downloading" and then failed. I have cleared all my deleted items and done a software update several times but the problem persists. Can anyone suggest anything else I can do?

common denominator appears to be TalkTalk broadband. See the post marked as the answer.

Sadly the answer is not working for me. Not sure who has marked this as answered as it is not really, just seems that an idea given has worked for a couple of people but is not actually the resolution to the issue. Something has changed for the signal to download to be blocked when Talk Talk connects to Sky to request permission to download files which has not been changed by us as customers so the issue has been created by something Sky have changed so should really be rectified by them rather than us.
