Catchup tv is not working it does not show all the box sets exetra and i cannot download any program
Catch up tv is not working I've switched my sky +box of and reset my broadband routerstill does not come on

I too can't download anything or watch anything on demand..I noticed the issue on Tuesday and rang Sky's technical team..We went through all the usual quick fixes but to no avail..A Sky engineer came out Wednesday morning and after an hour of checking everything including my rooter couldn't rectify the problem..I'm with Talktalk and he did go into the rooter to see if it was the cause but it wasn't..I can watch Netflix or go on YouTube through the Sky Q box so my broadband is working fine..The engineer then received a memo from head office saying they were having problems with downloading and on demand!..You couldn't write it!..lol..I rang Sky's technical team later on Wednesday and they confirmed the problem was down to them and they were working on it..I was told to keep checking to see if the service had returned to normal and depending how long it takes for them to do so I would be compensated by having some credit added to my account..Still unable to download Thursday evening..Let's see how long it takes for them to fix it?...

- I'm on a WhatsApp chat with Sky now. Told them about this, I have been asked to do software update, which doesn't work.

And just to add...If I try and download anything it comes up with "Failed..no broadband "!...I certainly do have broadband..lol..

I don't understand why Sky are telling you to do an update?...They have already admitted to me that the problem lies with themselves and like I said previously the Sky engineer who came out to me received a memo from head office informing him there was a problem with downloading and on demand...

Sky don't send engineers to Sky+ set ups. Are you sure you haven't got Sky Q?

I'm chatting to Jason of the "Sky Help Team" on Facebook messenger and he's asked me to send him a screen shot of my TV screen which doesn't have the DNS. I've sent it and will keep you updated of any advice Jason sends me. That's if he does send me any of course lol.

They're probably just trying/suggesting anything in the hope something works 🙄. I just can't follow the advice of the helpful people on this forum because I don't have DNS anywhere on my Network Settings unfortunately but I have sent a screenshot of my screen to the Sky Help Team on Facebook Messenger which they asked for. I now wait with baited breath to see what comes back to me. If anything does come back. 🤞
