Re: Sky catchup unusable
I just reread it and see what you mean. I'm gonna just leave it for now as I don't feel confident enough. Of course it's up to everyone else what they choose to do

Re: Sky catchup unusable
Go to settings - network - press down - press green- press down to DNS - press left to delete all the numbers - press 1 - press right - 0 - right - 0 - right - 1 - press green
This worked for me, I think Annie said 1.1.1.1 is an alternative setting
I'm sky+ / talk talk and it's worked for me
Hope this helps

Re: Unable to download programmes
I have just experienced failure with downloading the X-Files series after getting to S4 EP10 with no problems at all. Now I have noticed that the scheduler states "DOWNLOADING" but the red light is not coming on and after about a minute the message appears "Broadband connection not detected please ensure that your Broadband router is connected to a phone line".
I still have a Sky +HD box and have had a few lock-ups but relatively it has served me well for many years. I check Services page and Network tab to see that Broadband connection is OK and also connection to On-Demand is OK.
I was on the phone to Talktalk for about an hour last night and eventually gave up because they thought I had a talktalk box but it's only their router, my line has been affirmed as OK with no faults on it.
I have powered down and unplugged everything in the right order to what I have read on the internet but this has not affected the problem. I have eliminated the "wireless" connectivity by connecting the two via Ethernet cable but the same fault persists. I want to avoid a complete reset of the box as I have saved programs on here that I do not want to loose.
Any help appreciated?
Thanks.

When you get to Network press to go down and you'll progress from there

Re: Sky catchup unusable
I've pressed to go down and then pressed the green button. I then see:
Network Name
Security
Password
DHCP
