Funnily enough I'm with TalkTalk as well but everything else in house works 20 odd devices
No relivant as those 20 odd devices I guess are not trying to access Skys On Demand servers
Thats a bit like saying my broken light in the living room should work because all the other lights in the house work

Same here - very annoyed as I'm into Series 3 of Homeland and found this morning that episode 3 had 'Failed' - the rest is history.....

Internet via BT/EE and connected via Etherent with 73Mb download speed
Annie, can you confirm that you are using Sky HD rather than Sky Q. There could well be a legacy system that the old HD systems are communicating with at Sky's end that has stopped working correctly.
Three HD users accessing via TalkTalk is not yet enough proof to lay the blame with them. A non-TalkTalk HD user replicating the problem would be good evidence it is not.

Not yet but if we all report this problem, surely they'll have to look into it? Wish I knew the tech jargon to sound knowledgeable.....

Re: Sky catchup unusable
The relevance I was trying to imply is that myself and other folk can still use broadband over WiFi on every other service 3 of us are on Talk Talk and it all started this morning I was fine yesterday use on demand at 7:00 am to download content yours is fine with BT/EE over Ethernet , I'm actually going into loft tomorrow as I have a 10m cat5 cable up there somewhere, it may not be relevant to you but three of us have the exact same issue different parts of the country and by the way my lights are fine
old Scottish saying 'Don't try and tell you granny how to suck eggs'
enjoy your fantastic catchup service 👌

I have just sent them this:
Hi,A small number of customers have started having problems downloading content starting 23rd September 2025: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky/Sky-catchup-unusable/td-p/5095700I’m GeoffH in that conversation. Are you aware of any problems with Catchup on the older HD (non-Q) boxes? Thanks in advance,Geoff

Incidentally, I've just had a look at Down Detector for Talk talk - the internet outages map makes interesting viewing.....

I'm having the same issues as everyone else, also on Talktalk but Sky Q box here. Very frustrating.
