Sky box

Hi My  old sky box has broken the hard drive is not working and I was advised to contact sky which I did and told them I had decided to upgrade to sky Q which I have done and the money has been taken however the sky Q box will not be delivered for 6 weeks which I think is disgusting.Phoned them again today and complained but they still said it can't be done for 6 weeks.Any help / ideas please as I can watch the TV but can't record or use catchup Thanks

You could buy a used Sky+HD box cheaply on ebay etc. either as a permanent solution (until its hard disk also fails) or to tide you over until your Sky Q box,is installed.

Typically waiting time is based on the availability of a local Sky installer to carry out the required dish work (LNB swap) rather than delivery of hardware.
