Sky box stuck in initializing for 2 days

I've rebooted several times and unplugged / replugged everything and when it comes back on you can't change anything with the remote. Just says initializing constantly. Please hello

@jondurb your box is stuck on initialisong because it's not receiving a signal from your satellite dish.

 

While the box is turned off at the plug, chek that the dish connections at the back are secure. If that doesn't resolve it, the cause is most likely a fault with your dish or cables. Unfortunately Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment unless you have Sky Protect, so you'll need to contact a local satellite engineer to take a look.

Alternatively now might be a good time to consider upgrading to Sky Q. Any dish or cabling issues will be addressed as part of the Sky Q installation at no additional cost to you.
