Sky box not working

My sky box has stopped working and has a solid orange light.  I have reset this but it still doesn't work properly.

The engineer has shown me how to reset this problem before but now it is not responding and I believe needs an engineer call out.

 

the box isn't stuck on stand-by and displays an orange dot and not a red dot.

Sky no longer offers engineer attendance for Sky+ HD as it's an obsolete platform.  They'll advise you to migrate to Sky Q, or preferably Glass/Stream.

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q (Satellite TV is approaching end of life so is not a long term solution)

You'll need to source your own engineer now as Sky will not send one for Sky+

@Andy1310 if it's not stuck on standby, tell us what it's doing or not doing and what you mean by not responding.

 

By the way, orange is standby on a sky+HD box.
