Sky + box error message viewing card not authorised
Back from 2 weeks away. Sky+ box. Error message "viewing card not authorised" went through the telephone auto help and told my card number is not recognised.

A couple of months ago I ordered SkyQ but cancelled and stayed with Sky+ when the engineer would not go up his ladders to replace the receiver on the dish.

Your Sky+ Card will have been canceled and you'll need to get Sky to send a replacement

Yes I've just done that on the "chat" line. It seems strange that the card had worked for 2 months since the aborted attempt to install SkyQ when then my only option was to continue with Sky+ This was not told to me at the time ....so another 3-5 working days without the subscription channels 🤷🏻♂️

It's an automatic cancelation that does take a few weeks to trigger, I guess not all the support agent know this is a thing
You can use Sky Go whilst you wait for a new card
