Sky + and paramount +

I don't know if I am being stupid, probably. I have a Sky+ box and I pay for sky cinema. I thought this gave me access to Paramount+.

When I tried to access a film through the Paramount+ app, it asks me to login and when I do this using MySky login it takes me to my subscription package which shows I have basic with ads included in my subscription but when I click on it, it doesn't do anything or take me anywhere.   
basically what this means is I cannot watch Paramount+ even though I'm a sky cinema subscriber  - What am I doing wrong?

i've noticed a couple of other people on here have said that sky and Paramount need to have a conversation and then Paramount will activate it. Is this true?

Sky Plus boxes have no ability to run apps thus their users don't get access to apps, you would need one of the other TV services

You only get content that is added to the Catchup section of the TV guide

@HellsBells40  The only way you get the app is by upgrading your hardware to either sky Q glass or stream 

there are no discussions about making it available by an other means for sky customers and there unlikely to be any as sky plus is a legacy platform that sky no longer sells or supports
